Hunter is basically the key of skilling and prestiging. Its easy skill, but pretty time demanding if you aim for high prestige level.
By hunter, and wise point spending you can increase your late game really good and its recommended after a start. In this guide I will explain how hunter works, what it unlocks and why it is so important.
Recommendations & Requirements
Hunter has no skill or quest recommendations, so its player-friendly skill.
Although hunter has no requirements, its recommended to get few items before starting to grind. You can get these items along the progression of the game by doing requirements or buying/lending from fellow players.
Agrith Naar- Pet - Gives double hunter points
How to get/requirements: Costs 5000 Turtle points ::turtle & Tradable item, so can be bought from players
Double exp bonus - Gives 2x xp when using lamps
How to get/requirements: Requires nothing, easy to get from buff packs (7th day daily reward) or can be bought from players
4X XP ring - Multiplies with double xp bonus, and makes leveling even faster.
How to get/requirements: Requires nothing, can be bought from players or donation store for 7000 donation points
How To Start & Leveling
You can start hunter by clicking skilling tab and clicking hunter skill. Clicking will open an interface that has every impling you are able to hunt, and different level requirements for them. There is no difference between catches or experience bonuses, so best option is to stick at baby implings.
To start catching you will need: Impling Jar and Butterfly net, those can be bought from Tamay.
Wield Butterfly net, and get 28 jars to bag and start clicking implings. At the beginning you might fail multiple times but after a few levels it will be alot faster.
Every catch will give you 1 hunter point, but with agrith pet you will get it doubled, so its highly recommended. Shops offers you multiple items such as lamps, gears and cupcakes but the item you wanna aim for is lamps (250 hunter points each). You can acces hunter shop by talking slave looking nub;
Hunter Point Store
Prestiging with Hunter
Why should I do hunter if aiming to prestige? Well the answer is simple, Lamps. Lamps are untradeable items that gives xp to every skill. There is few fays to get lamps, but hunter is the fastest way.
With every item I've listed in recommendation section you will need 2 lamps per 1 prestige. Without the items 1 prestige takes 15 lamps total, so using the recommendations makes it much faster and enjoyable.
With prestiging you can unlock few things, Buried weapons and prestige pet. Weapons requires 10 prestige to pull out from the stone and prestige pet (bis) requires prestige level of 50. By prestiging you will also get prestige boost %'s which increases your total damage.

10 prestige = 20 lamps = 5000 hunter points

New system is dope and improved game a lot, but I've been wondering that is there coming more benefits to pets since we have alot pets that has no bonuses at all and are mostly costumes.
Id like to see some more pet benefits such as only DR-bonuses to certain npcs or random not that OP benefits such as random buffs, spec restores, damage boost etc. Wouldnt mind seeing all raid pets or even lucky pets in true action.
Quite a few people want the prestige pet to be nerfed for being too OP.
If you have decent gear such as Tyrant, lucky comp, phantom and so forth with good weapons it's quite easy to obtain enough cash to buy more and more OP weapons/gear.
The prestige Pet is untradeable and must be obtained with a lot more effort. Earlier someone(Not naming names) was irritated that I was able to out DPS them with a Donor Set, Hellslayer Sword, Prestige Pet, DBone SS -
They had Donor set + Hailstorm Sword/Shield + Vorago pet.
When I mentioned they could grind for the pet too they pretty much said they "Cba" so them not willing to grind for a good pet they decide to want to have it nerfed instead. As stated previously, essentially all of his items were tradeable and it's quite easy to get enough for a HSS/Shield + the rest of what he had but without even doing raids. So it only makes sense for the Prestige Pet to be as good as it is considering you have to do a bit more manual and tedious grinding.
Perhaps I am wrong but the pet has always been like this for quite some time now and was even nerfed in the past. I understand me saying this could be considered bias due to me owning the pet now(Got it today) But even still it only makes sense to leave the pet as is.
If something has to change about it at most I would suggest removing it from everyone that has it(Refund them the 2.5m prestige points) and change it's value in the shop to 5M points or so(If this has to happen rather than a nerf.)
The pet alone takes quite a bit of grinding and you
can't just buy it the second you join the game since
Lamps are also untradeable - unlike untradeables you
can just save enough cash and buy said item to use
it that are tradeable. (You could attend 1 - 5 world
bosses/1 - 5 DonorBosses and have enough to buy
the Vorago pet from someone, where the Prestige
Pet you cant just buy it.
You all have made it very pleasant and helped a lot teaching a new comer on what do and how to improve. Never to busy to help if they can. Genuinely appreciate all the work and dedication you all put in towards this server.
